The Role:

In this role, the Senior Logistics Specialist will ensure GMP compliance throughout Logistics operations. Maintain a safe work environment. Act as a key knowledge point for expertise and leadership in supply chain processes and principles for inbound operations, inventory management, outbound operations to support Norwood Site. Drive key projects and improvements to closure to ensure efficiencies are continuously improved within Logistics. Play a key role in training and leading team members and any quality events to support compliance across Logistics.

Heres What Youll Do:

  • Lead/train Logistics specialist team and execute on Quality events, CAPAs, Effectiveness Checks, Change Controls, Regulatory audit commitments. Attend department/site meetings to establish plans, timelines and committed due dates.

  • Leads and coachs team and drive compliance to identify any compliance gaps through quality event support and execution.

  • Ensure that Modernas Quality Policy and Quality Management System is established and followed. Implement preventive and corrective actions.

  • Drive and leading change controls involving cross functional departments

  • Supports strategic projects within supply chain

  • Supply Chain Logistics systems subject matter expert e.g., SAP, Veeva, OSI PI, Blue Mountain, KNEAT, Service Now etc.

  • Support Supply Chain Logistics projects and training for continuous improvements and efficiencies.

  • Comply with cGMP as well as federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling regulations. Enforce adherence to requirements. Advise management on needed actions.

  • Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and identifying any gaps or improvements.

  • Investigational support for inventory discrepancies, process gaps, and cycle count reconciliation and monthly and end of year metrics

  • Support warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and training

  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and establishing personal networks.

Heres What Youll Bring to the Table:

  • High School Diploma with at least 5-7 years experience in Logistics and/or Supply Chain; must have at least 3- 5 years industry experience in a cGMP environment with experience in Materials Management, Manufacturing Production or Supply Chain Management.
