What You Will Achieve

Your leadership skills and innovative ideas with drive the growth of the business development team at Pfizer. As an advisor and an expert, you will be entrusted with developing Pfizer’s strategic mission by advancing high impact strategies for a portfolio of products and projects.

In your role, you will be involved in determining customer requirements and translating them into organizational plans. You will work with teams across the organization to review and guide budget status, workforce level, equipment availability, and other company capabilities. Your collaboration and negotiation skills will be leveraged to build meaningful relationships across the organization to evaluate and guide new market initiatives. Your performance driven insights and innovation will help you build constructive relationships across the organization to achieve your division’s goals and objectives.

Through your expertise and extensive knowledge, you will be able to foster a culture that promotes innovation and thrives on doing better for patients and healthcare.

How You Will Achieve It
  • Develop innovative ideas and lead division projects.
  • Develop mid-term plans that impact the achievement of your division and organization's units.
  • Collaborate with strategy team members to establish and refine transformation business processes, agree on content and timeliness of strategy reporting, and cross-program coordination.
  • Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.

Qualifications

Must-Have
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 10+ years' experience
  • Demonstrated experience in explaining and summarizing complex analytics to senior leaders
  • Experience in management consulting, investment banking, finance, strategic planning, or decision analysis
  • Strong project management skills, including ability to clearly articulate scope and deliverables of project
  • As a relationship manager, can build robust and long-term strategic relationships with individuals from all levels of the organization to ensure future alignment of the entire portfolio
  • Effective listening skills and ability to seek understanding of different points of view and opinions
  • Self-starter and self-directed with initiative to proactively identify and address needs, barriers, take a concept to build out details for execution, etc.
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Nice-to-Have
  • Master's degree
  • Expertise in Oncology, specifically hematology


PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

Role requires ability to perform complex data analytics, and colleague will need solid knowledge of database systems.
