What You Will Achieve

As part of technical operations, you will be developing and applying your knowledge of procedures, techniques, tools, materials, and equipment. How You Will Achieve It

  • Manage own time, and professional development, and be accountable for own results.
  • Manage the preparation, cleaning, and/or operation of various components, materials, and equipment.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, perform quality level checks, and document processing steps for various manufacturing/packaging/inspection equipment.
  • Perform the cleaning and sanitization of the area as per the procedure.
  • Maintain files and databases to ensure all documentation is current and complete.
  • Communicating with peers, supervisors, and interdepartmental groups to provide for an efficient drug production process.
  • Participate in Response Development to Regulatory Inspection Observations and execute corrective actions recommended as a part of cGMP/Regulatory compliance.
  • Be part of an ownership culture that values diversity and where all colleagues are energized and engaged.
  • Be part of a team and work collaboratively with the broader Manufacturing Operations group.
  • Suggest innovative ideas for process simplification.
  • Cleaning
  • Sanitizing
  • Responding to facility needs Stocking & inventory of production items (including gowning components)
  • Aiding production colleagues
  • Main contact during non-aseptic facility shutdowns

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

Must-Have

  • High school diploma/GED required plus one or more of the following:
  • Two plus years of relevant work experience (i.e. Mfg, Pkg).
  • Associates degree
  • Previous Pfizer Colleague
  • Current or Previous Contractor (i.e. three-plus months of relevant mfg or pkg. work experience).
  • Veterans/Military
  • Ability to follow SOPs
  • Work experience in a GMP environment
  • Great customer service skills
  • Understanding of aseptic conditions

 

 

Nice-to-Have

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Pharmaceutical production experience

 

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

Work 8-hour shifts, weekends, and holidays

 

Must be able to work with cleaning and sanitizing agents. May be exposed to products manufactured in the Graded spaces and chemicals used to sanitize the APA, the surrounding areas, and equipment. Aseptic gowning requires all body parts to be completely covered (gowned) for substantial periods.

Must complete APA certification.

Obtain a PIV permit.

 

This is an entry-level manufacturing position, performing and learning basic, repetitive manufacturing, cleaning, or packaging operations. Responsible for operation and control of manufacturing/ packaging/ inspection/cleaning machinery. Documents and monitors manufacturing / packaging / inspection/cleaning & sanitizing operations. Work is performed in strict compliance with manufacturing standards and all regulatory requirements

 

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL, OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

 

8-hour shifts. Holidays and weekends included.
