Research Associate/Associate Scientist, Biology

RemeGen Biosciences is a biopharmaceutical company, focusing on the discovery and development of innovative biologics for the treatment of cancers, autoimmune and ophthalmic diseases. We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced talent to join Therapeutic Biology Group in our South San Francisco site. You will be joining a multidisciplinary team to develop novel therapeutic molecules including antibody and multi-specificity modality in cutting edge areas of immuno-oncology.
 
Responsibilities

• Culture various mammalian cells, including cancer cells and immune cells.
• Work with Preclinical biology scientists in developing and executing cell-based functional assays including but not limited to multi-color flow cytometry, RT-qPCR, western blotting, ELISA, and Luminex to support multiple cancer drug discovery projects.
• Demonstrated ability to design and execute experiments, analyze, and interpret results.
• Present scientific results and write experiment reports.
• Collaborate within and cross-functional groups promptly communicate the results.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in biology/biochemistry/immunology with 4-5 years of research experience or MS with 2-3 years of experience.
• Ideal candidate should have prior experiences in immune-oncology/ drug development
• Proficient in mammalian cell culture and aseptic techniques.
• Proficient in biochemical assays and cell-based assays.
• Hands on experience with FACS, PCR, Immunoblot, genetic manipulation of cancer cells
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Good organizational and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
