The Role:

This position will be located in Norwood, MA. Modernas CMC organization is looking for curious, engaged CMC leaders with an appetite to solve complex problems, drive significant outcomes and deliver innovative solutions as part of the teams producing our COVID vaccine for the world. Our rapid growth has afforded us an extraordinary opportunity to transform the way medicines are manufactured and delivered globally. To better enable this growth, we are looking for motivated and agile leaders with CMC expertise in one or more functional areas (Quality, Supply Chain, Process/Technical Development, Manufacturing, MS&T, Engineeringor Program Management) to be embedded in our management teams and lead critical projects. These are high-visibility assignments with high impact to the organization. Successful candidates will gain broad visibility and experience in multiple domains of mRNA production and delivery globally, and be positioned to take on subsequent assignments in within our organization, based on individual aspirations, capabilities and current business need.

Heres What Youll Do:

  • Quickly establish strong working relationships with your respective team

  • Define project parameters, deliverables and success metrics

  • Maintain close connections with CMC Strategic Operations to enable alignment/transparency across CMC project portfolio and maintain consistency of PM toolset

  • Ask good questions, be a strong teammate, learn our culture

Heres What Youll Bring to the Table:

  • Education: University degree in an appropriate discipline (e.g.sciences, engineering, business); advanced degree aplus

  • Experience: 10+ years of pharmaceuticals/biotechnology experience in Quality, Supply Chain, Process Development, Manufacturing, MS&T, Engineeringor Program Management. Experience in Commercial and/or GMP environmentspreferred.

  • Ability to work in a fluid environment and foster a strong collaborativespirit

  • Ability to manage ambiguity and chart a courseforward

  • Solid judgement with ability to make gooddecisions

  • Excellent written and oral communicationskills

  • Time management and organizationalskills

  • Strong knowledge of project management tools/software (Microsoft Project or Smartsheet), and digital solutionspreferred

  • Demonstrated track record of learning and willing to take careerrisks
