The Role:
The Sr. Manager, Data Commercial Data Stewardship will be responsible for day-to-day management of data. H/she is the Commercial Life Sciences domain expert who understand and communicate the meaning and use of information. H/she is responsible to collaborate with other stewards across the organization as the governing body for most data decisions and issue resolutions. H/she will liaise with Data Owners and Data Governance to resolve data issues. The successful candidate will be a subject matter expert on Commercial Pharma and other third-party data sources and play an integral part in the advancement of digital impact across our global Commercial organization. This role will also partner with Functional Decision Owners, Stewards and Data Quality teams improve data quality.

The role will report into the Director, Global Commercial Data Management and be based out of Modernas Cambridge, MA office.

Heres What Youll Do:

  • Establish and evolve Modernas Data stewardship capabilities

  • Support the execution and optimization of data policies and governance

  • Partner with Data Owners and Data Quality specialists in creating insights for critical metrics, policies and standards

  • Work with product owners of CRM, Contact Center, SAP and Commerce to improve data quality and standards

  • Maintain quality of the data to ensure accuracy and integrity of data flows and business processes

  • Identify and manage the resolution of data quality issues such as integrity and accuracy

  • Responsible for CRM- MDM match/merge process

  • Responsible for processing data change requests

  • Partner with key stakeholders on data management, trends and reporting

Heres What Youll Bring to the Table:

  • 8+ years of experience in Pharma, supporting Commercial functions

  • Knowledge, technical depth and experience in Customer Master, MDM, CRM solutions in Pharma domain.

  • Thorough understanding of HCP, HCO, Affiliations, metadata, data quality, correction processes, data stewardship and administration including master data management.

  • Data stewardship experience in Pharma/Life Sciences industry.

  • Knowledge of data profiling, data quality, data management and MDM concepts.

  • Consistent performance of turning data into clear insights that inform data strategy and improvements.

  • Experience working with CRM and MDM data orchestration.

  • Experience working with IQVIA OneKey, Syndicated, Non-Syndicated, specialty data sets, affiliations, and hierarchies.

  • Highly collaborative with strong communication skills and intellectual curiosity to look at problems in new ways and present solutions

  • Customer-obsessed

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup mentality environment with shifting priorities

  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Communications or equivalent required. Masters degree preferred.
