Summary

The Director of Pharmacy will be responsible for providing input in the development, management and training of investigational products at a program and protocol level (i.e. Investigational Product (IP) manuals/pharmacy manuals for utilization by clinical sites). The Director provides expertise on clinical site/pharmacy operations; aseptic preparation guidelines for injectables; clinical disease state and patient journey reviews.

Responsibilities

- Support and management of clinical studies for all sponsored trials, as well as Investigator Initiated Research (IIR) customers, Provide strategic leadership of oversight of all clinical site and patient focused training materials; Has a focus on strategic and operational excellence; Provide input in Patient Focused Initiatives
- Delivers excellence in Clinical Supply by influencing across the matrix to deliver cost effective, high quality and patient focus clinical supplies according to agreed timelines; Deploys and manages Continuous Patient Focus initiatives that are aligned with the compound strategy toward excellence in quality and Patient focus.
- Leads the design of IP Manuals, contributes to the Central Label Design, Patient Wallet cards, Patient Information card and all other patient materialsWorks with the matrix team to ensure timely delivery of quality clinical supplies within the budget.Deliver excellence in CRP, including the use of harmonized tools, processes and systems, to deliver cost-effective, high-quality IP Handling information and training according to agreed timelines.
- Proactively ensure quality and compliance through CRP risk identification and mitigation plans, strategic planning and execution, and overall design input.Assist with the management and expansion the PharmD Fellowship
Qualifications: Successful candidates will be able to meet the qualifications below with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Education Qualifications (from an accredited college or university)

- PharmD preferred Experience Qualifications

- 7 or More Years 7 -10 years of Clinical Pharmacy or equivalent pharmaceutical/biotech industry experience. preferred
- Hospital pharmacy experience required. required
- Completion of a post-PharmD Industry Fellowship or pharmacy practice residency is desirable. preferred

Travel Ability to travel up to 10%
