What You Will Achieve

As a Director, you will be at the center of our operations and you’ll find that everything we do, every day, is in line with an unwavering commitment to quality. You will help Pfizer in the critical area of portfolio management for our Research and Development (R&D) function. Your will design and implement business processes to enable product research and development, portfolio prioritization, resource allocation and risk management.

Your leadership skills and innovative ideas with drive the growth of the R&D team at Pfizer. As an advisor and an expert, you will be able to build and leverage constructive relationships across the organization to achieve your division’s goals and objectives. You will be entrusted with developing Pfizer’s strategies for a portfolio of products and projects.

Through your expertise and extensive knowledge, you will be able to foster a culture that promotes innovation and thrives on doing better for Pfizer’s patients and healthcare.

How You Will Achieve It
  • Develop innovative or original ideas and lead division projects with unique complexity.
  • Develop plans that impact the achievement of division.
  • Responsible for intricate resource analytics that facilitate business and resource planning objectives for Pfizer Essential Health (PEH) Research and Development stakeholders.
  • Develop benchmarking tools for all PEH Research and Development functions to harmonize Read Only Memory cost estimate approach across deals type and geographies.

Qualifications

Must-Have
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 10+ years of experience
  • Demonstrated understanding of the pharmaceutical Research and Development and product life cycle process
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively analyze and communicate relevant business, valuation and portfolio related information/data to support decision-making processes
  • Strong influencing, networking and team skills, including demonstrated experience of active contribution to successful projects
  • Ability to effectively lead global, short term, matrixed project teams on tight timelines

Nice-to-Have
  • Master's degree
  • Relevant pharmaceutical experience
