The Senior Specialist, HCP Contracting is a key contributor to the Commercial Operations team, responsible for providing proactive support to the Regeneron organization.  Specifically, this individual will be responsible for managing the end-to-end contracting process of healthcare professionals and/or other technical expert consultants for the Commercial organization and other groups as needed.  

This role may be for you if you:

• Responsible for reviewing and managing the Needs Assessment process for the contracting of healthcare professionals and/or technical experts who perform consulting services for Regeneron for Commercial engagements. 

• Support project sponsors in their completion of accurate and comprehensive needs assessments (NAF forms), thereby accelerating Law Department reviews.

• Responsible for drafting contracts using pre-approved templates, and monitoring contract status and credentialing requests.

• Collaborate with Medical Affairs to initiate credentialing of HCPs to determine FMV, and ensure requests are processed on time.

• Conduct comprehensive background checks for all consultants using established Regeneron resources and processes.

• Assist in training Sponsors and Key Stakeholders on the HCP Contracting process.

• Draft and send invoices to HCPs for services provided.

• Facilitate the collection and consolidation of required close-out documents.

• Support ad hoc initiatives and projects in other areas of the HCP Contracting and Monitoring group as needed.

• Stay abreast of all pertinent company policies, procedures and government regulations (both State and Federal) that relate to consulting services and promotional activities, thereby actively contributing to Regeneron’s continued compliance with same.

To be considered for this role you must possess a Bachelor's degree required. 5 + years of "progressive" industry/relevant professional experience. 2 + years of pharmaceutical/biotech or related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Outstanding customer service skills with proven ability to interact effectively with all levels of management, healthcare professionals and field-based employees. Experience working in the pharmaceutical, biotech and/or biologics industry. Demonstrated understanding of the Physician Open Payments Act and all associated reporting requirements. Detail-orientated with strong problem-solving skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Able to handle confidential information, exercising good judgment with discretion and attention to pertinent detail(s). A self-starter who demonstrates the ability to take initiative, think and act pro-actively, to ensure process adherence along with capture of all required data and documentation.
