JOB SUMMARY 

The Senior Project Engineer is responsible for delivery of engineering capital projects and initiatives by organizing and controlling project elements, leading department/site improvement initiatives and for supporting ongoing operations/manufacturing as needed. Manage the process of developing feasible solutions that solves the problem or allows for utilizing opportunities. Utilizing various engineering disciplines, manage the engineering process for selected solution Lead design reviews at various engineering stages. Manage the planning process for execution of the engineered solution.

•    Create and adhere to project budgets, execution plans, and schedules.
•    Oversight and execution of capital projects from inception to turnover to user groups
•    Responsible for project functions included but not limited to Project Management, Site Management, Project control Management, Construction Management, Procurement, etc are all coordinated and properly staffed to meet the project(s) goals.
•    Ensure accurate and timely reporting standards are maintained throughout the project(s).
•    Prepare and submit reports on the progress and status of the project.
•    Maintain effective and on-going communications with construction, contractor management, and site teams throughout project.
•    Create and execute commissioning documentation.
•    Assist QA/QC and validation with qualification of systems.
•    Create or revise existing SOPs for operations.
•    Management of multiple capital projects simultaneously using company procedures and industry best practices.  This includes, but not limited to, planning, scheduling, conducting, coordinating, and reviewing.
•    Provide leadership and management to projects and executing them to the agreed upon scope, schedule, budget, safety, and quality.
•    Coordinate all technical activities on assigned projects.  Responsible for having an awareness of and ability to recognize technical problems.
•    Preparation of design packages and specifications, RFPs, SOWS, design review, vendor/contractor selection, constructability reviews, approval of submittals, and preparation and oversight of validation and regulatory submissions.
•    Monitors project budgets and schedules for trends and compliance to budget.
•    Prepares project engineering proposals and documents.
•    Coordinates the review and checking of engineering deliverables
•    Develop, coordinate, and complete engineering feasibility studies.
•    Ensure safety and QA/QC programs are established by all parties and maintained.

MINIMUM EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS
•    Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering
•    Ten (10) years project engineering, management experience, or equivalent combination of training and experience are necessary.
•    Strong track record of successfully completed project in the pharmaceutical industry.
•    Experience in capital project management
•    Strong knowledge of safety regulations in 1910 and 1924.
•    Must be flexible, adaptable to changing priorities, and achieve quality and timely results
•    Strong oral, written, and listening communication skills
•    Desire to continue to promote personal development
•    Proficient with computer applications such as Microsoft Suite and AutoCAD
