Research Associate

The Role: BigHat Biosciences is seeking a self-motivated individual for a Research Associate role to operate BigHat’s high-throughput, automated platform for producing and characterizing antibodies. 
Key Responsibilities

• Execute experiments to produce, purify, and characterize antibodies on the BigHat platform.
• Follow all laboratory protocols and promptly communicate results and difficulties.
• Keep a detailed record of all experiments using BigHat’s documentation tools.
• Collaborate with the automation team to scale and optimize automated processes.
• Collaborate closely with BigHat team members to identify, design, and implement critical improvements to laboratory systems to enable higher throughput and efficiency.
• Nice-to-haves include prior experience in protein production, cell culture, or antibody-related assay development. 

About You Undergraduate degree in the biological sciences; strongly self-motivated individual with attention to detail; familiarity with protein biochemistry; driven, team-oriented, and excited to work in a dynamic startup environment.
