Compliance Coordinator

AbbVie is looking for a self-motivated, energetic, and industrious Compliance Coordinator who loves a challenge and wants the opportunity to grow.   This position is part of AbbVie’s Information Security & Risk Management (ISRM) team.  We are here to put our partners in a position to succeed. We do it by providing the knowledge, tools, and support they need to effectively use data and technology while also effectively managing risk. The Compliance Coordinator will provide support for updating and maintaining basic and routine elements of AbbVie’s compliance programs, revision and updating documentation, coordinating.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assists in facilitating the routing for review and approval of new and/or updated policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Responsible for preparing scheduling and follow-up of Compliance Meetings, Governance Review meetings and similar.
  • Assist team by collecting and organizing requests and information.
  • Assists with the documentation of various internal and external audits/assessments
  • Prepared status report on overall project status, audit readiness, completed activities, planned activities, risks, and action items, and plan and facilitate a status review meeting
  • Communicates information, concepts, and metrics in a confident and well-organized manner through verbal, written, and visual means and tailored to the audience including to multiple levels of leadership
  • Collaborates with Compliance Services Team and other business compliance teams, as well as other internal/external partners to establish relationships
  • Works closely with Information Governance Operations Supervisors to coordinate workflows.
  • Assist in the development of training, procedure manuals and guidelines

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Exceptionally strong verbal and written communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaborate as a member of a team
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Customer service orientation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in SharePoint
