Amgens Digital Integration & Predictive Technologies (DIPT) organization is a global process development function at the cutting edge of digital transformation in the biopharmaceutical industry. DIPT provides thought leadership and differentiated capabilities in:

• digital threads for end-to-end data capture, integration, management, and analytics;

• digital twins from empirical, first principles, and hybrid modeling techniques for reduced experimentation and improved process performance; and

• platforming and stewardship of digital assets, technologies, and processes.

DIPT has an opportunity within the Process Development (PD) organization in multiple locations. As a member of the DIPT Senior Leadership Team (SLT), this person will be primarily responsible the organizations strategic planning across a diverse portfolio of programs, projects, and products. This role will be responsible for the functional budget, workforce capacity management, and functional communications.

In addition to the responsibilities above, this position will enable a large cross-functional portfolio of digital innovation programs, projects, and products, across PD and Operations. The person will be responsible for the budget, project management, communications, and strategic planning.

This position will serve as a liaison with all PD functions, as part of the Business Strategy network. The Senior Manager will be required to manage staff across multiple sites and will be asked to lead and complete special assignments as necessary.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and manage DIPTs Business Strategy & Solutions (BSS) team

• Run and continuously improve DIPTs business operations

• Provide strategic development and operational support to the Head of Department

• Facilitate the creation of key strategic and operational updates to PDs executive leadership

• Catalyze action and effective decision-making within DIPTs SLT and digital Steering Committee

• Drive strategic planning processes and collaboratively produce key deliverables

• Manage the portfolio of digital innovation initiatives and integrated roadmap

• Provide program and project management leadership and support

• Enable effective execution of prioritized programs, projects, and products

• Actively reinforce DIPTs culture and ethos

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree and 2 years of process development experience

Or

Masters degree and 6 years of process development experience

Or

Bachelors degree and 8 years of process development experience

Or

Associates degree and 10 years of process development experience

Or

High school diploma / GED and 12 years of process development experience

And

2 years of managerial experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs or directing the allocation of resources
