Business Development Associate

MT Group is a Los Angeles-based, contract research organization (CRO) that identifies, collects, and delivers human biospecimens that drive cutting edge pharmaceutical research, such as COVID-19 vaccines and cancer drugs. We have enjoyed high year-on-year growth since our founding in 2003 and add many new customers and partners across the globe each year.  We are looking to expand our business development team with a motivated candidate that seeks to: a) develop a broad business skill set (with a focus on life science business development) and b) contribute to pharmaceutical R&D that advances human health.  

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers to define biospecimen collections to power their R&D programs
• Work with MT Group’s sites and operations team to evaluate the defined collection’s feasibility and then draft a proposal for the customer
• Support the customer through their proposal approval process and then transition the purchased study to MT Group’s operations team for fulfillment
• Analyze new business opportunities through direct customer Q&A as well as secondary research (market, competition, capacity, pricing, etc.)
• Draft marketing materials that showcase MT Group’s competitive differentiation and identify the appropriate recipients for said materials
