Job Details

We seek a highly-motivated and organized individual with experience working in a Supply Chain role supporting a GMP biotech/pharmaceutical operation to help evolve our Supply Chain organization into an audit-ready, partner-enabling, GxP-compliant function. The incumbent will lead the Logistics and Warehousing functions at the Resilience RTP site as part of the Supply Chain organization, reporting to the Associate Director of Supply Chain who is based at the RTP site.

About the Role:

  • Own the Warehouse Program consisting of Material Acceptance, Material Receipt, Material Storage, and Material Delivery.
  • Provide support and leadership for the team of Material Handlers.
  • Support the Implementation of ERP systems for Warehousing and Logistics.
  • Own the Logistics program consisting of shipping samples and products, receiving intracompany transfers, and 3rd party storage management.
  • Evolve the Logistics program to support shipment of multiple partner products.
  • Represent the Logistics and Warehouse teams at relevant Quality Systems forums such as Deviation Triage and Change Control Review Board, as well as Operational forums such as Daily Tier meetings.
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement projects for Warehouse Operations and Supply Chain Logistics.
  • Lead audit readiness activities for inspections conducted with Health Authorities and Resilience partner organizations.
  • Build connections with Global Supply Chain and Resilience-network Warehouse leaders to ensure alignment of policies and procedures within the Supply Chain program.

About You:

  • 10+ years served in a Warehouse or Supply Chain-related role.
  • 5+ years of experience at a biotech or pharmaceutical company.
  • Experience with MS Office, Sharepoint, and ERP systems.
  • Experience with chain of custody and cold chain.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are essential in this collaborative work environment.
  • Driven and self-motivated with the ability to lead and facilitate priorities and activities across cross functional teams.
  • Agility to quickly adjust and navigate shifting priorities, demands and timelines.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced company environment with minimal direction and able to adjust workload based upon changing priorities.
