ROLE SUMMARY

  • Will lead the transition of Comirnaty to a post pandemic environment through launching new commercialization models in public and private segments across key markets in EM.
  • Is accountable for the in-line performance and launches of Comirnaty in EM.
  • Systematically identifies, evaluates, funds and executes incremental growth opportunities
  • Leverages EM scale to execute locally and influence globally
  • Develops category specific capabilities in EM, such as launch excellence, contracting, tendering, retail, digital multi-channel marketing, customer engagement in collaboration with the EM and global team as well as the functional leads
  • Designs and drives an integrated commercialization plan working with global/EM parties and ensures flawless execution through local teams.
  • Engages internal and external stakeholders. Creates innovative solutions to expand patient base for Comirnaty across EM.
  • Position reports to the Emerging Markets Group Lead mRNA.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Captures and acts on insights with global functions to implement the brand strategy.
  • Tracks progress in partnership with country and regional leadership
  • Escalates needs for budget re-allocations / incremental investment requests to the EM Group Lead mRNA
  • Constructively challenge country and regional plans to meet targets
  • Accountable for commercialization/launches across EM
  • Drives investment that have highest ROI
  • Ensures excellence in execution of strategies and tactics across EM.
  • Builds EM plans, coordinates with global functions, ensures execution of commercial strategy/tactics to achieve target KPIs for brands that maximize portfolio and drive growth across EM.
  • Maximize business by defending and maintaining market share across the region. Leverage synergies and drive standardization across regions.
  • Conducts all activities and makes decisions that are in accordance with Company policies & SOPs, Pfizer Values, & global regulatory guidelines (including cGMP/cGLP/cGCP), environmental guidelines as appropriate, etc.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.

  • Bachelor degree required, MBA is preferred
  • Commercial leadership in country (BUL, Cat Lead, CM) or P&L accountability equivalent role desired
  • Global/regional launch experience preferred
  • Demonstrated successful track record in managing virtual cross-functional teams and global/regional/local matrix
  • 15 years of marketing experience
  • Broad knowledge and experience of the relevant healthcare and pharmaceutical environment
  • Strong people management experience
