In your role, you’ll perform planning and coordination activities to enable repairs and maintenance forplant or office facilities, machines and/or equipment.You will support work related to conducting routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery and equipment.

How You Will Achieve It

Contribute to the completion of projects and manage own time to meet agreed targets.

Understand the fundamental business drivers for Pfizer and make decisions within organization's guidelines and policies.

Develop, manage, communicate and execute maintenance plans and master schedules to effectively utilize plant resources (material, labor and capacity).

Coordinate withMaintenance, Operations, Project Engineering, Quality and other internal and external customersto determine and identify assets or system availabilities aligned with maintenance activities.

Schedule work by asset criticality and priority ranking and work with operations for asset or system availability.

Ensure that the backlog planned maintenance work (Preventive Maintenance, Predictive, Calibrations, Corrective) is scheduled.

Assign planned maintenance activities to ensure balanced and adequate workload assignments are scheduled to optimize resources.

Work with stock room MRO (Maintenance Repair and Operations) to pull parts and kit material for planned work.

Manage the scheduling with the consideration of monthly maintenance spend to achieve forecast accuracy targets.

Develop integrated maintenance schedules and implement fundamental reliability and maintenance optimization principles in the scheduling process.

Ensure communication with Operations Leads with schedule impacts and mitigation scenarios for effective decision-making.

Collaboratewith the site procurement team to manage and monitor maintenance tools, stores and equipment spare parts.

Maintenance Planner

The Maintenance Planner is a multifunctional role that facilitates the execution of EMU(Engineering/Maintenance/Utilities) work across the site.In this role the Maintenance Planner is accountable for the life cycle for planned maintenance work orders.This includes, but is not limited to the planning, scheduling, parts procurement and coordination required to execute all EMU activities within the Andover manufacturing, research & development and plant operation areas. Foster a Safety Culture

Planning EMU work:

Collaborate with requestors and peers to develop and ensure an appropriate level of scope to allow the development of the corrective maintenancejob plan and the efficient execution of work.
Consult SMEs (Subject Matter Expert) and Maintenance Supervisors to assign a specific duration to planned maintenance and forecasted preventive maintenance.
Efficiently utilize the allocated resource availability for each assigned trade technician.
Communicate with Manufacturing/Labs/Facility partners to enable the execution of work in their respective areas.
Confirms that appropriate change controls are approved prior to the execution of work if required.
Planning corrective maintenance work orders to assign, create and apply tasks for safety (i.e. LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out), fire watch, potential hazards, chemical, pressure and temperature)
Ensure that work hazards are identified, and all work is executed per the site safety standards.
Participate in maintenance shift turn over huddles.


Scheduling Work:

Review and understand work scheduling.
Group and schedule work orders for efficient execution (bundle multiple trade efforts on same equipment).
Group preventative and planned maintenance activities by manufacturing/facility area, asset type.
Obtain scheduling opportunities based on priority, asset availability and scheduling constraints.
Resource load scheduling opportunities against resource availability.
Communicate and facilitate EMU Maintenance schedule.
Report out long range plan for resource planning and asset area preventive maintenance.
Interface with scheduling colleagues to integrate EMU scheduling & resource loading into site schedule.
Manage KPIs (Key Performance Index) for planning accuracy, schedule adherence & scheduled resource utilization.
Receives feedback from technicians on job plan (task) durations and updates CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
Maintains oversight of Total and Ready Backlog.


Parts Management:

Understand and be competent in using the CMMS (Systems Applications & Procedures) system for ordering material for planned work.
Reserve material for planned work.
Work with stock room MRO (Maintenance Repair and Operations) to pull parts and kit material for planned work.
Regularly review orders waiting for parts to expedite.
Regularly review orders for status with parts on hold in stockroom and address issues.
Return excess materials if not utilized on planned work.
Work with Asset Managers to update BOMs (Bill of Materials) for both planned and preventive work.


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma with 5-10 years technical understanding and experience in maintenance planning or execution.

Candidate should have a working knowledge of cGMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) type systems and practices.Demonstrated computer skills with multiple software applications (i.e. Excel, Word).Extensive knowledge and proficiency in the CMMS system.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Computer competent, good written and verbal communication skills, able to facilitate cross functional meetings, familiarity of planning and execution of maintenance tasks and activities. Competent in Microsoft Office Suite, CMMS software packages and Scheduling software/practices and principles.Experienced with cGMP practices. Working knowledge of clean steam generation and water purification equipment preferred.Ability to collaborate with functional areas such as operations, maintenance, and validation are required to provide appropriate support.Availability to work off-shift as needed.


PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

This position will involve office work requiring sitting, standing and walking.A sizable portion of the position will require the applicant to walk down the area of scope and determine parts and estimates to complete the task. However, this position may require the ability to climb ladders and work at high elevation while being tied off; be able to lift 50 pounds and be able to wear a clean room gown.


NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

The ability to travel (foreign and domestic) and be willing to occasionally work outside normal business hours, including weekends and holidays.
