When you work as a Sales & Operations Planning Analyst I at KCAS, you get to further our mission by assisting in updating and adjusting an operational schedule with guidance from operational directors to maximize efficiency and meet customer on-time delivery requirements for assigned work groups. This will include analysis and upkeep of the status of the backlog (available and unavailable). Responsible for working closely with Business Development, Operations and Program Management personnel in order convert unavailable backlog to available, wherever possible.

In this role, we’ll rely on you to:

  •  Generate, update, and adjust the production schedule to set accurate priorities to meet customer on-time delivery requirements.
  •  Communicating daily with operations about production targets, schedule changes, new product introductions, line trials, product availability, material issues etc., to ensure proper execution of plans.
  •  Maintain & understand processes for evaluating organization capacity utilization among assigned business units
  •  Contributes to monthly analytics on capacity utilization.
  •  Create and assist the team with weekly & monthly reports and Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) in conjunction with the overall dashboards for management.
  •  Partners with Project Managers and Operations to determine if change orders are needed.
  •  Maintains and updates all data inputs that feed the forecast on an ongoing basis, ensuring the data is accurate and updated at least weekly.
  •  Maintain internal data file (including KPIs) to produce production schedule.
  •  Works with Managers and Sales to reserve capacity as necessary for specific jobs.

In Addition, to qualify specifically for this role, you will have:

Education & Experience:

  •  Bachelor's Degree
  •  1-3 years in business development and/or operations within a CRO laboratory.
  •  Strong computer skills that encompass a general knowledge of computer applications such as: Excel, Word, Microsoft  
  • Contributes strong analytical skills, good reasoning, and problem-solving abilities.
  •  Strong knowledge of corporate policies and procedures.
  •  Should be comfortable working independently but contributes to team goals, with minimal supervision.
  •  Ideally has an agile work style to fit as a ‘link person’ or who bridges customers between multiple departments such as Sales and Business Development.

Knowledge, Skills and abilities:

  •  High attention to detail.
  •  Ability to multi-task effectively while staying organized and on projected company timelines.
  •  Demonstrates a level of initiative and flexibility, being able to adjust with the needs of the business.
  •  Strong communication skills including both written and verbal and professional in nature.
  •  Discretion when dealing with confidential information.
  •  Perform all aspects of job in a way that supports company brand and supports company mission, vision, and values.
