The US Rare Endocrine and Neurology franchise is one of the most rapidly growing businesses across Pfizer Biopharma, with 60% 3-year annual growth and a stellar pipeline including two breakthrough asset launches (“25 by 2025”) in the next 2 years. The team is laser-focused on maximizing in-line Endocrine portfolio performance (Somavert and Genotropin), and delivering a best-in-class launch for Somatrogon (Ngenla) in a highly competitive growth hormone category. This colleague will play a critical role on the team in enabling launch efforts and patient activation.

US NGENLA Marketing Sr Manager, Omnichannel/Consumer will be responsible for supporting the launch of Ngenla, leading consumer and omnichannel engagement strategies and execution of various tactics across the portfolio.

Primarily, this colleague will be responsible for consumer Ngenla strategy, providing support to the Advocacy Lead with growth hormone advocacy partnerships, unbranded initiatives such as Dream Big and Growing Connections, and PAL partnerships with the growth hormone community. This colleague will also be responsible for consumer messaging and materials for the Ngenla launch, from day one materials to branded resources as the launch evolves. Finally, this colleague will lead the omnichannel strategy and consumer engagement plan for Ngenla, optimizing awareness and digital channels for consumer activation. In this role, this colleague will work closely with the existing Advocacy and HCP lead as well as the Patient and Access Lead. Given the dynamic nature of the endocrine franchise and the upcoming launch of Ngenla, this role requires a creative, adaptable and strategic colleague who is comfortable with marketing frameworks and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment. This role reports to the US Endocrine Marketing Team Lead.


Key responsibilities for the role include:

  • Support Ngenla brand strategies applying insights and translating them into meaningful strategies, tactics and ultimately market results

  • Utilize data to optimize all digital activity, including channel and message propensity, qualitative insight

  • Create and execute and integrated consumer omni-channel plan across channels (email, direct mail, media, search, etc).

  • Partner with cross functional team to continuously measure and monitor omni-channel campaign impact and effectiveness key performance indicators (CTR, open and read, etc.) and incorporate customer insights into future planning.

  • Support advocacy and PAL engagement, and strategy and tactics for evolution of Dream Big and Growing Connections campaigns with guidance from Advocacy Lead

  • Oversee and manage consumer Expense/Finance Budget

  • Contribute to annual strategic and tactical operating plans

  • Collaborate closely with cross functional team members including Medical, Customer Insights and Analytics, Digital, Communications.


  • Bachelors Degree required, MBA preferred

  • ~7 years of pharmaceutical industry, provider, managed care, or strategic consulting experience

  • Demonstrated strong project management skills

  • Proven track record of operating in a fast-paced, high energy environment

  • Strong business acumen with excellent verbal and written communication skills for a wide variety of internal and external audiences, including senior Pfizer leadership and senior management from external organizations

  • Demonstrated success to build and maintain productive/collaborative relationships

  • Track record of innovation, leadership and significant contribution to the growth of brands

  • Ability to gain alignment: Effective listening and communication skills – gathers input from key stakeholders; communicates scientific and commercial strategies into clear updates for senior leadership

  • Ability to navigate internal organization/processes

  • Ability to engage and influence cross-functional team members, even without direct reporting relationships

  • Demonstrated ability to understand customer needs, extract key insights, and translate these into meaningful strategies and in market results

  • Ability to execute in the face of ambiguity or change

  • Fast learner; have the ability to learn new processes and systems quickly

  • Agency or vendor management experience

  • Launch experience preferred

  • Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, and influence the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.
