What You Will Achieve

Working with Pfizer’s dynamic engineering team, you will play a critical role in supporting manufacturing information systems to improve manufacturing success rates and ensuring zero down time. You will integrate manufacturing, process operational knowledge, equipment control and data into systems, which enforces the sequence of operations across departments.

As an associate, your focus on the job will contribute in achieving project tasks and goals. Through your domain knowledge and commitment, you will create a collaborative team environment for your colleagues.

How You Will Achieve It
  • Support and troubleshoot network/infrastructure equipment.

  • Provide off shift support

  • Monitor systems to identify issues to help develop preventative solutions.

  • Support the development of Preventive Maintenance Procedures for network/infrastructure systems.

  • Adhere to safe work practices.

  • Contribute to the completion of project milestones, organize own work to meet project task deadlines, and communicate progress and issues to peers.

Qualifications

Must-Have
  • Applicant must have a High School Diploma (or Equivalent) and 6 years of relevant experience OR an Associates degree with 4 years of experience OR a Bachelors degree with 0+ years of experience.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Hands-on experience with troubleshooting network/infrastructure issues.

  • MS Windows Server and Active Directory knowledge.

  • Experience building systems and installing patches.

  • Virtualization Knowledge.

  • Cisco switches, routers, and wireless access point knowledge.

  • Demonstrated organizational skills and can meet project task deadlines.

    Nice-to-Have
    • Pharmaceutical industry engineering experience

    • The ideal candidate should have background in cGMP regulations

    • OSI PI Knowledge

    • SQL Knowledge

    • VMWare, VSphere, VCenter Knowledge


    PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

    Office and plant environment. Keyboarding, lifting, standing, bending, walking.

    NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

    This role supports 2nd and/or 3rd shift. Some weekend and overtime. Supporting 24/7 operation – on call coverage. Adhere to safe work practices Some travel (including international) required (Approx. 5% of time)
