What you will do
Lets do this. Lets change the world. In this vital role you will lead all market research initiatives as well as performance tracking primarily on LUMAKRAS and brands as required. This is a high visibility role with exposure to solving key business questions on Amgen Oncology's most recent launch product and will be part of a high performing, dynamic team with opportunities to learn and grow constantly. Manager will report into the Oncology Commercial Insights Director
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, craft and conduct strategic and highly sophisticated market research projects to answer key business questions
- Communicate research findings to senior leadership effectively and encourage growth through concrete, compelling insights and recommendations to drive brand success
- Identify and define key business questions that need to be addressed to meet evolving business needs; consistently engage in thought partnership with commercial teams, integrating insights from a variety of data sources
- Prioritize research resources to impact critical business issues and decisions
- Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with outstanding insights vendors and consistently look for opportunities to purposefully innovate
- Ensure that both routine and ad-hoc projects are in compliance with all Amgen SOPs and meet service-level expectations for quality, timeliness, and budget

Basic Qualifications:
Doctorate degree
OR
Masters degree and 2 years of market research and/or analytics experience
OR
Bachelors degree and 4 years of market research and/or analytics experience
OR
Associates degree and 10 years of market research and/or analytics experience
OR
High school diploma / GED and 12 years of market research and/or analytics experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Extensive marketing research experience across a broad range of study designs (quant, qual etc.,) and participant types
- US in-line product experience - oncology experience highly desired
- Outstanding strategic / critical thinking abilities, organization skills and business acumen
- Excellent oral and written presentation skills with ability to explain complex concepts clearly to a variety of audiences
- Ability to collaborate with teams as well as lead projects independently
- Ability to balance multiple projects, collaborators and workstreams simultaneously
- Proficient facilitation, negotiation, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
