Gilead is seeking an SAP Data Insights Lead within the ERP group in IT to facilitate the collection, structuring and mining of our data into tangible and actionable insights across our many business verticals. This role will involve partnering with various IT and business groups to architect best in class analytics solutions that deliver significant value from Gilead's data assets.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Working with key stakeholders across our various business domains such as Order to Cash, Record to Report, Source to Settle and Plan to Deliver to assess opportunities to build and deploy analytical insights that deliver tangible business outcomes
  
• Building a strong knowledge of all transformative technologies within Gilead's landscape in order to ensure the most optimal architecture is deployed for any solution
  
• Leading ideation workshops to educate business stakeholders on the ‘art of the possible' with Gilead's cutting-edge technologies, and develop a pipeline of analytics projects as a result
  
• Collaborating with other process domains to ensure cross functional best practices are achieved
  
• Maintaining a portfolio of analytics post deployment, overseeing change management and monitoring whether objectives are met post hyper care
  
• Promote a ‘self-serve' culture where applicable, coaching business stakeholders to use available off the shelf technologies as well as the existing analytics portfolio to enhance their ability to perform their roles efficiently
  
• Working closely with our master data council to ensure master data quality is always optimal, thus governing the accuracy of analytical insights delivered down stream
  
• Continually scan the environment in a proactive manner to gain perspectives on industry trends, best practices and technologies to ensure Gilead remains ‘ahead of the curve'
  

Knowledge, experience and skills

• Hands on experience working with business verticals such as Order to Cash, Record to Report, Source to Settle and Plan to Deliver, preferably in the Biotech / Pharmaceutical industry
  
• Hands on experience with data & analytics, data architecture, business process architecture and high-level analytics solution design
  
• A strong grounding in data & analytics technologies such as SAP HANA Enterprise, SAP Analytics Cloud, Analysis for Office, Webi, ThoughtSpot and Tableau
  
• Experience relating to Tier 1 ERPs, ideally SAP S/4HANA
  
• Ability to analyze complex business problems and evaluate solutions
  
• Ability to influence upwards and downwards, building trust with key stakeholders within the business and IT
  
• Strong communication, presentation and change management skills
  
• Experience in process mining, automation and machine learning is desirable
