Job Description

Partner with Key Stakeholders and Business Partners to align business priorities and drive effective solutions/execution. The Principal Financial Analyst, Gross to Net is responsible for Gross to Net (GTN) actuals, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and management reporting for the US Region.

  • Complete monthly accruals, reconciliations, analysis, and reporting for all GTN line items
  • Lead monthly review meetings with Finance and Market Access Departments leadership to discuss proposed GTN entry and any true ups
  • Prepare monthly GTN utilization file, co-pay program reporting file, GTN accrual summary file, and GTN reporting package.
  • Reconcile all systems associated with GTN
  • Analyze monthly results to assess opportunities for GTN improvement to the region’s P+L profitability
  • Prepare monthly management reporting Power Point Deck for US results with commentary
  • Prepare GTN utilization for forecast, update contract log, lead discussions with Market Access and Government Pricing & Contracts to confirm contracts and estimated future changes
  • Leveraging monthly results, build and maintain a forward looking GTN projection partnering with Sales Operations and Market Access business partners
  • Responsible for monthly and quarterly certification of results in compliance with all Government Pricing mandates once approved by Head of Finance, North America
  • Responsible for State Transparency reporting as required
  • Reconcile the forecast P&L in the system to ensure input agrees to expected result
  • Lead representative from US in Business Finance Community, acting as a super user to train local users, provide input on system reporting, and other system related issues or projects
  • System expert and technical support the US team on BPC / SAP process for actuals and forecasts.
  • External audit support of GTN
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis and projects as required by management

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field of study; MBA and/or CPA are preferred
  • Experience within the Pharma/biotech industry and commercial product launch required 
  • Exposure to US Government Pricing laws and regulation impacting pharmaceutical companies including but not limited to Medicaid, Medicare Part B & D, VA/DoD, Tricare and 340B
  • In-depth experience with IFRS and US GAAP, with a detailed understanding of accounting methods, reporting, bookkeeping, reconciliations, and revenue recognition, SEC reporting requirements, and SOX regulations
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and collaboration skills critical to the role
  • Play a key role in developing and implementing efficient processes and that will scale with the company
  • Highest standards of accuracy and precision; extremely organized, detail-oriented, and mindful of deadline
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with multiple functional areas in a collaborative, team environment
  • Skilled in use of financial software packages, preferably SAP and Coupa
  • Experience with global team management and frequent interactions with global colleagues a strong plus.
