Description:

Gladstone is seeking a talented, motivated, and highly collaborative candidate to join a small team supporting Gladstone’s enterprise business systems. This person will work directly with key stakeholders to ensure that Gladstone’s Workday system is configured to provide optimal support. This position will perform hands-on work on a wide variety of integrations and reporting needs. This person will work with a supportive and cross-trained team, and have the opportunity to get training and hands-on experience in multiple functional areas.

Essential Functions:

  • Serve as an IT partner to key stakeholders, advising on Workday integrations and reporting

  • Provide day-to-day Workday production support and serve as subject matter expert in integrations and reporting

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, troubleshoot, and modify business processes related to integrations between the Workday platform and connected systems

  • Solicit reporting needs from stakeholders and work collaboratively to generate Workday reports

Key Qualifications:

  • Completion of at least one full implementation with Workday HCM or Financials Integration

  • Demonstrated proficiency with web service technologies (REST, JSON, SOAP, HTTP, SSL, PGP, SAML, SWA, etc.)

  • Hands-on experience writing XSLT integrations

  • Hands-on experience using Workday Studio to create and manage integrations

  • Hands-on experience writing BIRT reports using the Workday Report Designer

  • Ability to design, develop, configure, and test simple to complex Workday reports (advanced, matrix, composite) utilizing Workday Report Writer and Report Designer, as well as other tools and available technologies

  • Workday certifications in Integrations and/or Reporting

  • Detailed understanding of ERP or Workday System concepts and general module functionality

  • A strong willingness to learn about the business of Gladstone and how it functions

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to train both novice and expert users on best practices and system functionality

  • A passion for supporting cutting-edge science

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university, preferably in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or Computer Information Systems, and four years related experience and/or training.

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience within the enterprise business systems space, with at least 2 of those years using Workday extensively.
