Position Summary

The Talent Acquisition Partner will provide daily support of the full life-cycle of attracting talent in a fast paced, high-energy environment while strengthening the organizations image as an employer of choice. This role will be responsible for sourcing, screening and hiring candidates while building and managing talent pipelines for assigned client groups while ensuring compliance with ImmunityBio policies and processes and all federal and local regulations and laws. The Talent Acquisition Partner will extend offers and will work with team members to ensure the smooth and compliant onboarding of new hires. This role will be partnering with all levels within the organization to provide Talent Acquisition solutions and services to the organization.

Essential Functions

  • Conducts full cycle recruiting and hiring process for identified positions within ImmunityBio. Ensure proper process administration in partnership with HR partners and hiring managers and compliance with company policies and procedures, and in compliance of federal and state regulations and laws.
  • Develops passive candidate pipelines through innovative sourcing techniques and assist in implementing comprehensive sourcing strategies. This includes ongoing file maintenance and appropriate disposition of all candidates.
  • Performs searches using multiple online talent platforms and build talent pipelines while using creative recruitment techniques to find hidden prospects.
  • Conducts appropriate research of the industry and competitors for determination of qualified candidates.
  • Screens candidates using behavioral interviewing techniques and value-based methodology.
  • Develops compensation offers for positions using internal guidelines and consultation with hiring managers and the Total Rewards team.
  • Coordinates the new hire orientation process, including scheduling the orientation, ensuring accurate new hire paperwork completion and creating the employee file.
  • Participates in recruiting events and outreach events and builds strategic business relationships with community contacts. Supports the overall recruitment strategy, including targeted recruitment activities, in collaboration with the corporate recruitment plan.
  • Builds and supports business relationships with outreach organizations in furtherance of ImmunityBio’s diversity and inclusion strategic plan.
  • Responsible for conducting recruiting in furtherance of the intern/co-op program and other talent pipeline programs.
  • Actively educates and participates in the training of hiring managers to ensure consistency of practices, adherence to federal and state regulations and laws and consistency across the organization.
  • Maintains a solid level of industry knowledge and a comprehensive understanding of the competitive landscape.
  • Serves as an ambassador of the employee experience.
  • Develops, maintains and adheres to desktop procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications or a related discipline is required. Masters’ degree a plus.
  • 5+ years’ of professional experience in sourcing, recruiting, interviewing and hiring required.
  • Experience in a high-volume corporate environment required.
  • Experience in a biotechnology, pharmaceutical,clinical research, or healthcare technology setting preferred.
  • Experience using multiple sourcing and recruiting channels including the internet and social media preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Solid understanding of employment law, recruitment and staffing metrics and HR related practices.
  • Software skills, including use of Microsoft Office software and web-based applications.
  • Verbal and written communication skills necessary to explain complex and/or confidential information.
  • Presentation skills necessary to facilitate training and/or deliver informational sessions to groups and/or individuals.
  • Time management and organizational skills necessary to manage multiple projects, appropriately prioritize workload, plan for resources to meet deadlines and goals, and respond to day-to-day functional needs.
  • Able remain calm under pressure and act with a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to analyze, review, and make recommendations.
  • Knowledge of concepts, practices, policies, and procedures, related to field operations and Human Resources preferred.
  • Knowledge of state and federal laws regarding employment and general personnel practices, recruitment/employment practices, compensation and benefits administration.
  • Ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships with all levels of the organization and outside service providers.
