We are looking for a highly motivated candidate with a passion for science to help with our research in immunology including: responses to infections and vaccines. Our lab is interested in understanding the mechanisms underlying clonal T cell differentiation as well as collaborating with industry to develop new therapeutic strategies to improve immune responses across a range of diseases. At the heart of our research is high throughput single cell genomics which enables us to comprehensively assess how individual T cell clones cooperate to form balanced and protective immunological memory.
The Gladstone-UCSF Institute of Genomic Immunology blends the latest genomics and genome engineering technologies with immunology research to engineer the human immune system for therapeutic benefit. A newly forming lab under the leadership of Dr. Ansuman Satpathy is looking for a Research Associate. The person would be responsible for assisting other lab members in tasks related to ongoing research projects in the lab. The person would also provide support in the lab in the following areas:
An ideal candidate would have some experience in immunology or genomics research, but this is not required.
AA/AS degree in a related field and 2+ years of related experience.
B.S./B.A., in a related field and 0+ years of related experience
