Position

We are currently seeking an experienced IT leader to lead Eikon Corporate IT function through an exciting stage of growth with multiple locations. You will be reporting to the CIO and responsible for overseeing IT infrastructure services and operations in addition to implementing efficient and effective technical strategies.

You can partner with senior leadership and functional area leads to proactively identify areas of technology needs, lead technology initiatives, establish and maintain IT services and solutions with an eye towards maximizing quality, efficiencies and cost management.

 What You’ll Do

  • Provides assessment of current IT infrastructure and recommendations on building scalable IT services and capabilities
  • Assist with setting vision, strategy, and the implementation of the Corporate Information Technology Infrastructure Organization in support of successful governance, execution and delivery of policy and standards.
  • Builds and leads a talented and flexible Corporate IT infrastructure organization that has a high sense of urgency, is customer oriented and is exceptionally responsive. 
  • Maximizes deployment of resources both internal and external to the organization to support core IT projects with a focus on quality, efficiencies, and cost management
  • Consults with the business leads and formulates IT strategies aligned with the company’s strategy. 
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Applications team and business functional leads to support implementation of enterprise applications roadmap and lead operationalization of enterprise systems.
  • Responsible for the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade and support of all Corporate IT systems including applications, software and hardware.
  • Oversees provision of end-user services, including help desk and technical support services. 
  • Manages financial aspects of the Corporate IT Department including developing business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for IT spend and initiatives. 
  • Oversees the deployment of company-wide technology standards spanning both corporate applications and infrastructure. 
  • Maintains and continually upgrades the infrastructure supporting critical operational systems. 
  • Provides security, regulatory compliance, and provision for disaster recovery. Maintains security of all data proprietary to the company and provide for the complete backup of all computer systems in case of system failure or disaster. 
  • Implement industry standard methodologies and harmonizing across the organization

Qualifications

  • 15+ plus years of multi-company industry experience in pharma/life science space, including integration of acquisitions 
  • 7+ plus years or more of senior-level leadership experience in an IT department
  • Experience with business transformation aligned with strategic business initiatives
  • Strong knowledge of IT requirements for a clinical / commercial stage pharma company
  • Demonstrated background in supporting business systems applications infrastructure, including business intelligence, data warehousing, and data management
  • Experience in supporting scientific teams for their IT infrastructure needs.
  • Experience in scaling Corporate IT infrastructure and services to meet company objectives
  • Experience with management and governance of large scientific data sets
  • Experience in establishing and overseeing managed service provider relationships and driving TCO and ROI on technology investments
  • Direct experience with IT planning and budget management 
  • Master's Degree in a related field
