What You Will Achieve

Pfizer has a scientific, ethical, regulatory and legal obligation to collect and evaluate safety information that may be associated with its products, as well as ensuring data privacy. In your role, you'll be working with a team that implements and manages the risk strategy, utilizing audit and inspection intelligence to identify risk mitigation strategies and adherence to GCP in clinical trial trials in order to assure the quality and integrity of generated data and the rights and welfare of patients.

As a Senior Director, your innovative ideas and creative decision-making lead the strategic direction of your division. Your ability to leverage constructive relationships across divisions will help youmaximizethe resources available within theorganization. Your ability to exercise foresight and judgment in initiating, planning, organizing and guiding complex projects in unprecedented situations shall be critical to the achievement of the division.

How You Will Achieve It

  • Lead strategic direction including business performance and financial management for highly complex activities within a Division or Business Unit.

  • Act as a strategic leader in Quality by influencing leadership, peers and reports across functional lines to develop a consistent and transparent Quality strategy.

  • Develop, implement and ensure effective quality systems are in place that ensure compliance with the relevant Pfizer quality standards and BOH regulations.

  • Manage central processes for audit groups to execute quality risk strategy and assessment, inspection request support and operational support of cross Pfizer quality and compliance governance.

  • Drive consistent measures and dashboards to report and escalate the state of control to leaders to enable effective mitigation strategies.

  • Drive operational planning, project governance and strategic communications across the department

  • Support the investigation of quality related investigations within Inter-Company Operations and the identification and implementation of effective CAPAs.

  • Provide subject matter expertise as required to identify and drive continuous improvement and automation/simplification opportunities.

  • Oversee the development of training strategy, programs and curriculum, in coordination with the QA subject matter experts, including the development of individualized training plans for QA colleagues.​

  • Grow leaders by providing challenging and stretching tasks and assignments, being aware of each direct reports’ goals, mutually constructs compelling development plans and executes them, encourages people to accept developmental moves.

  • Provide guidance, training and support to colleagues and teams to attain high performance at individual and team levels.

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Bachelor’sDegree and 15+ yearsof experience.

  • Experience in People Management.

  • Excellent project management skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, influencing and problem-solving capabilities.

Nice-to-Have

  • Master’s degree and relevant pharmaceutical experience.

  • Six Sigma experience.

  • Prior teaching and coaching experience as a People Manager.
