Associate II, Manufacturing Support

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Supervisor on D Shift, you will a shop floor employee in the Bulk Vaccine manufacturing organization. You will use your technical skill-sets necessary to manufacture high quality biologicals safely in a compliant, efficient, and cost-effective manner.

Night shift - 2,2,3 schedule (every other weekend off)

6pm-6am

Level will be in consideration of years of experience

You will:

• Become trained on basic processes and equipment and serve as a hands-on resource in Production.
• Conduct all assigned activities using safe and cGMP compliant protocols.
• Clean, prepare, and sterilize production equipment.
• Cleaning and disinfecting production rooms.
• Assembly, set-up, and disassembly of production equipment.
• Complete process steps according to defined SOPs and BPRs.
• Document activities following cGMPs.
• Handle biologically and chemically hazardous good.
• Work with process automation systems and electronic business systems (e.g, PAS, BAS, PLCs, LIMS, SAP, and LiveLink.)
• Perform Qualification and Validation activities.
• Identify and communicate process issues.
• Perform the completion of root cause investigations and CAPA.

• High school diploma/GED required
• Bachelor's degree in life science, biotechnology or engineering is ideal.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience OR equivalent; experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or sterile production environments is valued.
• Basic knowledge of cGMP requirements is valued.
• Experience completing SOPs and documenting work valued.
• Basic mechanical aptitude or knowledge of electronic / mechanical equipment preferred.
