Position SummaryThe Human Resources Senior Project Manager partners with Human Resources team and key functional areas across the organization to bring process improvement to all HR functions through all phases of the project lifecycle. Manages and directs projects or initiative to ensure that project(s) are delivered on time, within budget and meeting or exceeding customer expectations.Essential Functions
  • Act as a project manager for key processes, projects, and initiatives – including assessing current processes, recommending options, and creating project plans to implement solutions
  • Work with our vendors, HRIS, change management, Total Rewards Manager, HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and Coordinators to continuously assess and bring enhancements to key projects
  • Manage the operational aspects of HR, Legal and the Board Compensation Committee in order to ensure timely deliverables and seamless coordination occurs
  • Assess options, plan, organize and schedule project meetingsto meet objectives. Ensure that activities are well-documented and communicated to all relevant teams
  • Ensures scope of project is clearly defined, approved, and has a documented management level sponsor.
  • Develops, manages, tracks progress of, and updates project plan to meet the approved requirements/scope defined for the project. Escalates project issues to upper management
  • Creates and manages the project schedule by defining tasks and determining the durations, sequencing, and resources needed
  • Estimates project spending, provides input on budgeting, and controls cost throughout the project lifecycle
  • Defines and manages project plan to meet the approved scope of the project. Ensures changes in scope are reviewed and approved by project team and sponsors
  • Partner with the Human Resources Team and key functional areas across the organization to bring process improvement to all HR functions
  • Partner with others to extract and analyzemetrics and reporting, and the development of high-level material surrounding HR projects and processes
  • Develop materials, participate in, and complete deliverables regardingcommunications, training sessions, and key briefings as needed
  • Partner with the Team to develop tools, training, communications, materials, and resources to support the newprograms and platform launches as needed
  • Challenge assumptions and recommend new and innovative ideas tocontinuously improveour processes
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5-7 years of related experience; HR, Project Management and Board of Director
  • Experience managing and implementing major projects
  • Experience with modern HRIS/ATS platforms and virtual environments
  • Proven ability to research, gather information, and recommend solutions to fit the strategic vision and organizational needs
  • Experience with the ability to develop and maintain a project plan for all aspects of assigned projects
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite; project management application experience is a plus
  • Passion and experience for creating positive change around the candidate and employee experience
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and bring resources together to implement solutions and enact change; within the framework of ongoing activities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written required. Communication is confident, professional, and polished.
