Lets do this. Lets change the world. In this vital role you will work directly within the Commercial Data & Analytics team at Amgen as an Oncology Commercial Insights Manager.
Synthesize findings from several data sources and develop useful insights that drive commercial strategy and tactical execution for products within the oncology portfolio
Track business performance by preparing and publishing performance reports and dashboards
Communicate effectively and maintain relationships with internal cross-functional partners and external vendors to prioritize business needs and enable effective insights generation
Deliver special projects on segmentation, network analysis, influence mapping etc., to enable brand growth
Support key financial activities including Quarterly Business Reviews using several data sources including account-level demand data, claims data and electronic medical records data to generate a comprehensive, objective, and detailed understanding of brand business

Basic Qualifications:
Doctorate degreeOR
Masters degree and 2 years of sales and/or marketing and/or managed markets analytics experience
OrBachelors degree and 4 years of sales and/or marketing and/or managed markets analytics experience
OrAssociates degree and 10 years of sales and/or marketing and/or managed markets analytics experience
OrHigh school diploma / GED and 12 years of sales and/or marketing and/or managed markets analytics experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Leading strategic market research / forecasting / consulting projects to inform commercial decision-making in oncology
Performing data analyses with physician/patient-level data and sales data specific to biopharma (e.g. IQVIA data) to drive decision making for sales and marketing
Using common business analytics tools (e.g. MS Office suite, SAS, R, Python or Amazon Redshift) and other business intelligence and visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Spotfire)
Prior pharmaceutical and/or biotechnology industry experience including in a market research and/or data analytics and/or consultant capacity
Managing multiple data vendors and projects
