Eikon Therapeutics is a new biopharmaceutical company employing revolutionary technology at the intersection of chemistry, engineering, computation, and biology to discover novel treatments for life-threatening diseases. Eikon’s discovery platform is built on groundbreaking innovations from its founders (Nobel Prize, 2014), culminating in the creation of microscopes which enable real time, molecular-resolution measurements of protein movement in living cells, thereby unlocking otherwise intractable classes of proteins as drug targets.
The primary aspects of the job are to build & maintain components of our super-resolution microscopes and associated automated systems. The candidate will work with our engineering team as they design the next generation of single-molecule, super resolution microscopes, and will help build, test, debug, and improve the designs.
You are an adventurous, passionate, and creative engineering technician eager to apply your talents to empower a new way of discovering medicines in a highly interdisciplinary biopharmaceutical environment. You are excited about the challenges of building cutting-edge hardware from the ground up to enable novel technologies and solve real-world problems, and you will bring to these challenges enthusiasm, high energy, intellectual curiosity, and technical excellence.
What You’ll Do
As part of Eikon’s diverse team of biologists, medicinal chemists, and engineers, you will build custom super-resolution microscopes and automated systems that will enable the exploration and quantification of Eikon’s high-content datasets.
