2023 Intern, General Accounting & SEC Reporting

The Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to be a key member of the Accounting team supporting a dynamic and high growth organization that is radically changing the biotechnology industry. This role will report to the Senior Manager, GL Accounting and will be responsible for supporting the Companys general ledger close process and assisting with quarterly Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) reporting deliverables. The successful candidate will be a strong team player who is detail oriented and has the ability to pivot fearlessly when necessary. In this role, the candidate will have the opportunity to apply accounting concepts and principles learned in school at one of the most relevant and fastest growing companies in the world. The candidate will have the support of an extraordinary team in the Boston area as well as exposure to teams in the Companys shared service centers in Atlanta and Poland.

We offer one Summer Internship start date on June 5, 2023. The program is 10-12 weeks in duration. Candidates must be available for a minimum of 10 weeks to participate in the program.

This position is limited to individuals who are legally authorized to work in the United States and do not require company sponsorship for work eligibility.

Heres What Youll Do:

• Assist in month-end close accounting activities

• Assist in SOX controls

• Assist in the preparation of quarterly filings, such as 10-Q and earnings

• Assist in the preparation of the quarterly CFO review presentation

• Assist in the ERP transformation project

• Assist in ad hoc accounting research or projects

Heres What Youll Bring to the Table:

• Bachelor's degree (or pursuit of degree) in Finance, preferably with a concentration in Accounting

• Experience with Microsoft suite of products (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)

• Proactive, responsive and timely problem solver

• Strong attention to detail and deadline driven

• Strong organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
