Schrödinger, a leader in computational chemistry & enterprise informatics software and services for preclinical drug discovery, is seeking an ambitious, highly driven, and goal-oriented Account Manager.

As a member of our US West Sales team, you’ll identify, qualify, and develop software and services business opportunities, with a focus on academic and government research institutions. Your customer base will include scientists, professors, principal investigators, and departmental management. Additionally, you’ll interact closely with Schrödinger’s applications scientists, product managers, education team, and other members of the sales team.

What you’ll do:

  • Create and implement sales plans for allocated accounts and territories
  • Manage engagements with assigned accounts to ensure objectives are met
  • Maintain customer records and accurately forecast all business opportunities in Salesforce
  • Provide feedback from clients to internal Product Managers and Support teams

What you should have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related science
  • One to two years of sales experience in the scientific or software industry
