We are embarking on a multi-year ambitious journey of building a best-in-class SAP platform aligned with our strategic corporate roadmap. We are looking for an Sr. Manager – SAP Finance Application who will play a critical role in enabling this vision.

The ideal candidate possesses in-depth SAP RTR functional knowledge and an aptitude for Finance process and systems in FI/CO, RAR, Product Costing, Profitability modules. You will identify, design, and build technology-driven solutions that enable strategic initiatives and operational improvements, including the implementation of SAP S/4HANA ERP and Digital Finance. In this role, you will work closely with our Finance, Supply Chain and supporting IT teams to enable strategic solutions. You will help to design and deploy changes to systems and processes in all aspects of the global finance process, including General Ledger, Cost Accounting, Procurement, Finance Reporting and Tax areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Serve as the IT lead on Finance related strategic initiatives and system implementations throughout the end-to-end solution design and development, from design through deployment.
• Play a leading role in Myovant’s implementation of SAP S/4HANA and other related finance system implementations, with a specific focus on integration points between finance and other functional areas.
• Collaborate and partner closely with internal stakeholders to ensure the design and functionality of the SAP S/4HANA solution is driving value and efficiency for the organization.
• Author Functional Specification and design documents to ensure they meet business requirements.
• Take an active role in testing for all in-flight projects and releases, build test scenarios, scripts, and support end users with all testing phases.
• Help with development of relevant training materials, business process flows and SOP’s, and support training delivery to relevant team members.
• Problem solve and provide hands-on support during post-go live hyper care and support phases.
• Drive decisions across cross-functional teams in both the technical and operational areas, ensuring tradeoffs are understood and mitigations are put in place when required.
• Define and drive documentation of current and target state business processes and related systems flow with emphasis on cross-functional impact.
• Take a “Big Picture” view - ensure creation of new systems and processes integrates effectively into the existing landscape and does not disrupt business continuity.
• Develop strong working relationships with the Finance business team as well as Supply Chain, IT and supporting teams to ensure a cohesive solution release.

Core Competencies, Knowledge, and Skill Requirements

• 8+ year of experience in SAP FI/CO modules. Lifesciences industry experience highly desired.
• Hands on experience on minimum 2 end to end life cycle implementation/roll outs in S4 HANA in FI/GL, Controlling (CO), Fixed Assets process areas.
• Deep experience with configuration of FI/CO, Product Costing, Profitability, Revenue Recognition, Reporting, Tax and Procurement (Purchasing for Services and Materials).
• Basic understanding of ABAP preferred but not required.
• Experience in working with following interfaces preferred: Esker, Blackline, Concur, JP Morgan, and Oanda.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and critical thinking skills with demonstrated use of data analysis and metrics to drive decision making and continuous improvement.
• Clear communicator with keen ability to present findings in succinct presentations and to express complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
• Exercise good judgment and make decision that is appropriate for the organization.
• Highly organized with the ability to drive high level strategic thinking while also rolling up your sleeves to get the job done with a focus on issue resolution.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively navigate in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment to achieve high levels of performance and deliver sustainable results to the team.
• Proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously, demonstrating rigorous attention to detail and adaptability to take on new projects and challenges.

REQUIREMENTS

Education

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Finance, Engineering, or related field.
• SAP Certification in FI/CO.
• Candidates with CA/CPA qualifications will be given preference.
• Lifesciences/Pharma industry experience highly desired.
