The Role

The Senior Manager, Employer Brand and Recruitment Marketing is a transformative opportunity to impact the development of Modernas global employer brand and attract top talent to our organization. This Senior Manager is the point person in strategizing and executing ways to build brand awareness, communicate our employee value proposition and attract new and diverse talent to the company. As a part of the Talent Acquisition team, you will work closely with Modernas Communications, Digital and Culture & Belonging teams as well as leaders across the business to communicate and execute recruitment programs to maximize visibility and the success of Modernas employer brand and recruitment marketing partnerships.

Heres What Youll Do

  • Activate our new Employer Value Proposition, internally and externally, and design an always on recruitment marketing strategy to support Modernas employer brand globally.

  • Develop our annual editorial and campaigns calendar targeting the key phenotypes of talent who will propel Modernas mRNA science forward.

  • Create our recruitment marketing strategy and launch multi-channel recruitment marketing strategies to build robust talent pipelines for new markets and key phenotypes of talent spanning campus through executive hires.

  • Define the strategy for talent analytics, track relevant KPIs, learn and adapt strategies based on data, and drive continuous learning.

  • Strategize new ways to attract talent from a broad and diverse mix of channels to Moderna and leverage new and existing avenues including video & social content, job boards, direct outreach, campaigns and events.

  • Partner with Internal Comms, Culture & Belonging, and ERGs to create content reflective of Modernas culture and give employees visibility into recruiting programs and content opportunities.

  • Build Talent Acquisition team capability to ensure all Recruiters are equipped to be Moderna brand Ambassadors. Deliver playbooks for running successful campaigns & events; provide thought leadership on maximizing Eightfold, LinkedIn & other social platforms; provide job board optimization recommendations.

  • Lead strategic partnerships with third parties such as LinkedIn, Glassdoor, and Brazen. Publish content across third-party job boards including conceptualizing, marketing and hosting recruiting events, speaker opportunities, and more.

  • Reimagine our Employee Referral Program to continue to leverage this source of identifying top talent.

  • Own the internal communications strategy and plan for strategic Talent Acquisition initiatives, in collaboration with other key stakeholders like Talent Acquisition PMO, Digital, Internal Comms, Culture & Belonging legal, and the business leaders; Own content strategy for Talent Acquisition Intranet Sites alongside Talent Acquisition PMO and Operations and develop mechanism for tracking performance of content on our key platforms.

  • Work cross-functionally with the Talent Acquisition team to ensure job vendor and partner program effectiveness and communication across all teams.

  • Work across Talent Acquisition and HR teams to ensure inclusivity in all job descriptions.

  • Track ROI of paid partnerships via LinkedIn Talent Insights and Workday to measure brand engagement of underrepresented minorities, and volume/quality of applicants.

Heres What Youll Need (Minimum Qualifications)

  • Bachelors Degree

  • 8+ years of recruitment marketing and communications experience.

  • 4+ years of experience of content creation across multiple social media platforms to engage target audience.

  • Project and campaign management techniques to ensure projects are designed, implemented, and evaluated effectively.

  • Experience integrating diversity and inclusion across recruitment marketing.

  • Experience and confidence in managing partnerships with outside vendors.

  • This role is physically located in our Cambridge, MA or Atlanta, GA, office 2-3 days/week with occasional travel required.
