As a Research Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, upkeep, and daily operations of Mission Barns’ research facility. You’ll be performing routine laboratory functions to support scientific experiments and investigations.
Responsibilities
  • Cell culture maintenance, material cleaning, sterilization, and organization
  • Culture media preparation
  • Bioreactor maintenance and operations
  • Maintain a clean, stocked facility and help with general housekeeping of the laboratory and equipment as needed
  • Staying up to date with relevant scientific developments that can improve the efficiency of lab operations
  • Record, analyze, and write reports, reviews, and summaries of experiments and trials

About You
  • Minimum of a High school diploma or Associate degree
  • Willingness to learn all aspects of the laboratory environment
  • Works well both independently and collaboratively
  • Eager to learn, grow, and contribute
  • Able to communicate technical information explicitly and concisely
  • Constructive and positive attitude 
  • Passionate about and/or intellectually interested in the technology and Mission
