We are seeking an experienced R&D Specialist to join the human anti-tumor immunology team in the Vaccine Technology group. You will get to help develop and perform phenotypic and functional assays on patient samples. This work will support clinical immune monitoring and exploratory assays on clinical biomarker samples collected from patients who are receiving Regeneron’s cancer therapies.

Our goals of the work are 1) to understand how our cancer therapies are working in our patients, 2) to identify features of productive anti-tumor immune responses, and 3) to study mechanisms of immune evasion.

As an R&D Specialist, a typical day might include the following:

  • Isolate PBMC from human peripheral blood and perform cell enrichment and in vitro culture

  • Work with a team to develop and execute primary human immune cell functional assays

  • Provide data summaries to supervisor and present results in team meetings

  • Operate flow cytometers and perform subsequent data analysis

  • Independently design high-parameter flow cytometry panels

  • Collaborate with multiple teams to achieve shared project goals

To be considered for this position you must have MS or BSc + 3 years' experience in Immunology, Cell Biology, Cancer Biology, Vaccine or related field. We are looking for someone with flow cytometry experience, who has the ability to design and execute multi-parameter flow cytometry panels. You should have hands-on technical experience in tissue culture, with preference for human primary cell culture experience.

This position will require the individual to pass a physical before beginning employment.
