About TrialSpark

TrialSpark is a technology-driven drug development company that runs end-to-end clinical trials, focused on bringing new treatments to patients faster and more efficiently.

The biggest bottleneck in bringing new treatments to patients is the clinical trial. On average, getting a drug through the trial process takes nearly a decade and frequently costs $1B+. To combat this industry problem, TrialSpark is building a technology platform that optimizes all aspects of a clinical trial, enabling more efficient trial design, faster trial completion, and higher trial data quality.

TrialSpark recently raised their Series C, and is putting the capital to work by in-licensing and co-developing drug programs through in-house development, joint ventures, and NewCos. Together with doctors, patients, and communities, TrialSpark is working to develop the treatments of tomorrow.

About the Position

Recruiting patients is one of the industry’s biggest problems, with up to 50% of studies terminating early due to inability to meet patient enrollment targets. Oftentimes patients are either unaware of trials running and / or uninformed about how clinical trials work.  

In this position, you’ll be a member of our new Marketing team focused on Patient Recruitment. You’ll build and implement technical solutions that enable your core teammates (e.g. Growth Marketing, Operations) to reach patients and drive engagement on the front-end through clear messaging and an excellent user experience. You’ll also work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g. Product, Engineering) to build new products and roll out to your Marketing colleagues. This role sits at the crossroads of Marketing, Product, and Operations, where you’ll leverage your technical skills and help configure our product for marketing to patients. Along the way, you’ll learn about marketing, branding, software development, finance, operations, and much more.

Responsibilities

  • Own backend builds for all marketing-related tools and platforms (e.g. Formsort, Contentfu)
  • Build, code, and optimize landing pages and study questionnaires with varying customer journeys for each new study 
  • Configure other marketing tools (e.g. Salesforce Service & Marketing Cloud) to drive patient engagement on the frontend
  • Monitor and analyze data on marketing touch points (e.g. landing page, questionnaire, CRM) and continuously find opportunities for improvement
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g. Growth Marketing, Product, Engineering, Ops) to create cohesive marketing messaging that resonate with each target audience
  • Create training documentation and train the Marketing team on software tools 

About You 

  • 1-3 years experience in Marketing, Product or technical support roles (e.g. Product Marketing, Marketing Ops, Product Ops etc.)
  • Ability to read and write Typescript
  • Familiarity with HTML & CSS 
  • SQL skills are a plus
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills 
  • You have an entrepreneurial mindset
  • You can figure things out independently 
  • Strong ownership mentality
