The Manager, Global Equity Compensation will be the lead role in managing our growing global equity compensation program. Because of this, you will be critical in not only the effective and compliant management of our stock plan globally, you’ll also be a key player in developing and delivering education and training to our employees on all aspects of equity compensation. As the internal expert in our stock plans, you play a key role as the key interface with other functions such as Accounting, Payroll, Legal and various other internal and external stakeholders as needed. As the face of the stock plan, you will have key interface with executives, Board members, and personal brokers and you will also lead the relationship with our third party stock plan administrator.

As the Manager Global Equity Compensation a typical day might include:

  • Manage the global equity program for over 10,000 participants, including preparation and processing of all new awards/grant agreements, exercises, cancellations, releases and 10b5-1 plans
  • Ensure all forms of equity compensation are administered in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Plans from which they are granted, our Securities Trading Policy and are aligned with all relevant SEC, IRS and other regulations, as applicable
  • Play a key role in operationalizing the stock plan globally as Regeneron grows and expands
  • Partner with the legal team on preparation and filing of all regulatory/SEC filings pursuant to trading activity; provide relevant information and analyses related to annual proxy and other required reporting
  • Partner with accounting, audit & payroll on preparation of reports, both on a recurring annual/quarterly basis and ad hoc as needed
  • Work with broader Total Rewards team to prepare for Compensation Committee and Board of Director meetings, including management and execution of analyses related to stock pool utilization, budget and associated metrics (burn rate, overhang, etc)
  • Advise fellow Total Rewards team members, HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition and other areas of HR on equity-related employee matters
  • Lead the development and execution of employee education related to various equity-related topics
  • Manage and mentor an equity compensation analyst to support in all matters related to stock plan administration

To be considered for this role you must possess 7-10 years of experience in equity compensation, including global equity plan experience, preferably in growing, dynamic companies. Consistent track record of success in a rapidly evolving environment where there are multiple priorities that require agility and on-the-spot resource allocation decisions. Ability to work effectively cross-functionally, cross-culturally and at all levels in the organization is critical to success in this role. Successful candidates will have a strong baseline of technical knowledge, but will also possess a passion for learning and acquiring new skills and experiences. Knowledge of E*Trade’s Equity Edge Online platform and Workday and a CEP are strongly preferred.
