In this vital role you will drive innovation in a highly integrated ERP landscape to efficiently deliver Amgens Global ERP solutions in a 24X7 regulated environment. You will be an integral member of a truly dynamic and exciting ERP platform team that provides services to multi-functional teams from different business functions and various countries in a complex organization with differences in language, culture, and time zones.   • Responsible for the architecture, strategy, and design of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) services in alignment with SAPs guidelines and Amgens city planning strategy
  • Manage roadmap and lifecycle of the BTP services ensuring reliability, security, and compliance of its services to the ERP platform
  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor to the peer architects, internal COE, partners, and the external stakeholders in driving BTP discussions and its implementation
  • Work directly with the ERP platform owner and SMEs to understand, prioritize, and advise on BTP focus and rollout
  • Lead architecture design workshops during the migration of the on-prem ERP platform to a hyperscaler by applying the agile/scrum methods and CI/CD principles wherever applicable to ensure optimal usage of BTP services
  • Establish guidelines, processes & tools and provide technical guidance to ensure seamless consumption of BTP services across the development, integration, and automation needs
  • Mature and maintain appropriate BTP service metrics, key performance indicators, key risk indicators, and service level agreements and accountable for communicating key updates and BTP service consumption to the management for auditing and reporting purposes
  • Develop a deep understanding of Global ERP's business needs, processes, and environment to enforce GxP compliance, data governance, and security policies as they are applicable to the BTP

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree

OR

Masters degree and 3 years of Information Systems experience

OR

Bachelors degree and 5 years of Information Systems experience

OR

Associates degree and 10 years of Information Systems experience

Or

High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Information Systems experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Overall 10+ years of proven SAP implementation experience with a minimum of 4+ years in the SAP Business Technology Platform (formerly Cloud Platform)
  • Certified SAP Business Technology Platform architect (Preferred)
  • Technical architecture experience with hyperscaler cloud solutions and SAP platform solutions like BTP extension suite, business application studio, HANA cloud databases, and analytics cloud solutions, etc.
  • Ability to understand the functional design prepare technical documents and implement BTP solutions which include implementation of highly scalable systems, release management, software configuration, design, development, integration, and execution
  • Deep understanding of BTP core services and solutions such as data management, analytics, artificial intelligence, application development, extension, integration, and automation
  • Strong BTP administration experience in managing the global account(s), sub-account(s), spaces, entitlements, quotas, and licensing models
  • Clear understanding of various SAP BTP environments (Neo, Cloud Foundry, and Kyma) and their corresponding services
  • Good understanding of BTP Security Authentication & Authorization Provisioning
  • Experience using the tools and programming models and APIs such as cloud connector, CLI for CloudFoundry, BTP SDL, GIT, Node.js, Python, SAPUI5, Java, etc.
  • Exposure to traditional SAP Line of Business solutions like S4, Ariba, Concur, LBN, etc. for integration, extension, and analytics scenarios
  • Experience working in DevOps teams, utilizing agile tools like Jira
