Summary

This role will provide commercial strategy and execution on biomarker functions to optimize patient identification across our precision medicine programs. In addition, this role will work closely with brand and cross-functional teams to develop the appropriate diagnostic strategy for each biomarker-based indication. Critical responsibilities include contribution to the brand plan, provide commercial input to CDx team, development of tactics such as education to laboratories/pathologists, drive quality initiatives, ensure adequacy of testing supply in markets and coordinate all activities with regional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Provide global diagnostic (dx) support to regions to drive optimal patient identification. Actively communicate with key regional teams, globally, to solicit regional input on a periodic basis to assimilate into a global dx plan. Develop global dx strategy and tactical solutions that meet market needs. Ensure global diagnostic programs are synergized with the regions, ensure minimal redundancy with maximum effectiveness.
  • Develop an understanding of patient identification challenges, globally, for each biomarker indication through market insight studies. Leverage expertise and experience to pressure test diagnostic landscape assumptions in order to inform overall dx strategy. Identify barriers to testing and current gaps in existing landscape to address through tactical solutions. Create brand critical KPIs around diagnostic testing for each indication.
  • Provide commercial view to CDx development teams for optimal vendor selection, new assay development, evidence generation needed to support patient identification
  • Collaborate with companion diagnostic partners and IVD companies to drive access to high quality testing globally
  • Build an effective and trusting collaboration with our alliance partner. Ensure alignment on projects with alliance partner, cross-functional groups as well as regional counterparts. Lead submission of all materials through compliance process, ensuring all necessary approvals in a timely manner to support critical milestones.


Qualifications: Successful candidates will be able to meet the qualifications below with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Education Qualifications (from an accredited college or university)

  • Bachelor's Degree required; degree in Business or Biological Sciences preferred
  • Master's Degree or MBA preferred

Experience Qualifications

  • 7 or More Years overall related experience (diagnostics, medical device, and/or pharmaceuticals) required
  • Oncology experience preferred
  • Global experience leading cross-cultural matrix teams preferred

Travel

Ability to travel up to 20% international travel for required business meetings
