    ABOUT US

    Pacific Communications is a full-service global provider of integrated healthcare communications on the West Coast, specializing in marketing strategy development and planning, medical communications and education, branding, advertising, and promotion. This includes launching many new products and technologies, with a global reach.

     

    Media Insights & Analytics is a growing team within Pacific Communications. This team is responsible for working hand in hand with media planners and account managers to setup tracking, develop insights and report results to stakeholders.

     

    Main responsibilities for this role include:

    • Creating measurement frameworks by understanding client goals to establish KPI’s and benchmarks.
    • Works with media team to discuss campaigns and ensure programs are properly setup for tracking.
    • Campaign tracking; assisting media teams by creating CID’s & UTM codes to track post-click website activity.
    • Data aggregation across tradeshow, print, digital direct, search and social campaigns. Experience in Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager and Twitter Ads Manager are preferred.
    • Reporting and visualization. Website data visualization using Google Analytics and Data Studio.
    • Media reporting requires an understanding of data mapping across multiple sources through Excel. Media reporting monthly and quarterly for in-depth analysis.
    • Ability to look across all brands to establish learnings and “best in class” performance
    • Experience with Storytelling. Beyond the numbers, we are looking for a team member who can synthesize the data to tell a story, helping stakeholders understand the “why?” behind the data. Process improvement & automation. As this team grows, we will always be looking for ways to improve process with an end goal of automation where possible. Growth mindset and interest in growing this approach would be ideal
    • Social Listening – as pharmaceutical brands continue to branch out into mainstream social channels, it is important to understand brand perceptions.  Social listening experience preferred; Meltwater experience is a plus.
    • Exposure to DSPs and Paid Social UIs with a working knowledge of GA and Data Studio and basic understanding of taxonomy
    • Maintenance of all brand Data Studio dashboards
    • Oversee direct support, such as a Jr/Associate Analyst
    • Client interface will be required

  • Qualifications - External

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelors degree required
  • 5-6 years media data/analytics experience
  • 1-2 years of people management
  • Media agency background is preferred
