As the first level of support to all our employees, this role is truly the face of the IT function at Inozyme. This means we’re not only searching for someone with demonstrated skills/expertise in computer systems (hardware, software, and telephony), but more importantly someone with stellar customer service skills and a commitment to quality and excellence. This role isn’t just about technical support, it’s about improving the way we work at the individual, team, and organizationallevel.

The Systems Analyst will be responsible for providing IT support for both internal and external employees. This involves screening, diagnosing, and troubleshooting the incident or help desk request and working to resolve, assign, and/or escalate the request when it is received. This individual ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values and enabling staff. 

This person will report to our Executive Director, Information Technology

The ideal candidate will:

  • First line of communication for any support call/email/ticket
  • Provides IT support and resolve problems to the end user’s satisfaction
  • Responds quickly and effectively to requests received
  • Document solutions, infrastructure, and procedures
  • Research and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks. Identify approaches that leverage our resources and provide economies of scale
  • Assist in developing and maintaining installation and configuration procedures
  • Assist in performing regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions
  • Conduct on-boarding for new employees and contractors covering Information Technology policies and procedures
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of IT training materials and Knowledge Base articles
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management

Professional Experience / Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent knowledge and experience
  • Minimum 2+ years of IT support in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with both Windows and Mac devices, and peripherals
  • Experience with MDM tools
  • Experience providing executive level support
  • Experience supporting Office 365 suite tools along with Azure and on-premises Active Directory
  • Strong customer relationship and problem-solving skills (independent and able to adjust to changing priorities)
  • Ability to interpret non-technical client needs, proactively identify issues, and coordinate resolutions through successful completion
  • Solid communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience
  • Willingness to wear multiple hats and demonstrate a go-getter attitude

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience supporting Zoom and Teams collaboration tools
  • Experience with GxP/Quality systems (MasterControl, Veeva, etc.)
  • Experience using VMWare Workspace One
  • Experience using VMWare Horizon

Experienced applicants will have experience with both Windows and Mac, Microsoft Office and Office 365, Active Directory/Azure as well as a knowledge of Zoom, Zoom Rooms and Zoom phones. Experience with Okta, Workspace One, VMWare Horizon, MasterControl, SmartSheet, Mimecast, Netskope and Crowdstrike is also preferred.
