Job Details

As a Staff Scientist-Imaging you will support the strategy, design and execution of complex early and late phase oncology clinical trials where imaging plays a critical role. You will learn and apply oncology imaging and novel approaches used to support our drug development and translational research. Imaging includes all modalities-CT, MRI, and a focus on PET. 
This position offers opportunities to grow professionally in the medical imaging area, and to develop innovative imaging biomarkers in support of clinical development, particularly in immuno-oncology.
A typical day may include the following: 
Work closely with the Oncology Imaging Strategy Lead and cross-functional program teams that include Regeneron clinical, preclinical and external partners. 
Support implementation of imaging measures as endpoints for oncology therapeutic clinical studies
Support imaging translational strategies in collaboration with preclinical and clinical research teams

To be considered for this you should have BS or MS (Phd preferred) degree in life sciences or biomedical engineering with medical imaging training, with 3+ years of experience. Excellent written/verbal communication and organization skills. Clinical or preclinical imaging training is highly desirable. Ability to multitask effectively. 

Preferred Qualifications include: 
•    Experience in the application of imaging as a quantitative endpoint in clinical or preclinical studies
•    One year or more experience in clinical or preclinical PET, CT or MRI imaging 
•    Experience in drug development and PET tracer development in a pharmaceutical/biotechnology setting Hands on experience with preclinical imaging models using PET tracers 
•    Strong biology research background
