ROLE SUMMARY

A career within Px M&A will provide you with the opportunity to help Pfizer achieve maximum value on deal transactions. We focus on all aspects of a transaction, pre and post completion. We conduct due diligence, execute on enterprise wide integrations, and support complex divestitures and separations on a wide range of functional and cross-functional areas.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Manager, you will work within the PX M&A team, helping solve business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Proactively assist in the management of projects reporting to the Senior Director, PX M&A
  • Responsible for the analysis for workforce demographics, headcount costs, and reports on milestones, key deliverables, and data room assessment and create briefing documents
  • Manage and deliver large- and small-scale transactions by developing the project plan, assessing risks and reviewing / challenging the output produced by the team
  • Support the development of communications for the PX M&A team and the facilitation of meetings for various PX workstreams and action planning sessions.
  • Establish effective working relationships directly with functional leads to be able to provide PX information in support of corporate transactions; Business Technology, Finance and Procurement for implementation, planning and tracking milestones.
  • Develop internal relationships
  • Keep current with local and national business and economic issues

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor Degree

Minimum Years of Experience: 5+ years

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Degree Preferred: Master Degree

Preferred Fields of Study: Business Administration/Management, Human Resources Management

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:

Demonstrates proven extensive operational knowledge of M&A and Divestitures, including integration and separation planning and execution, with extensive knowledge of the Human Resources functional area.

Demonstrates extensive knowledge and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:

  • Business acumen, including analytical and problem solving skills, prioritizing, organizing, and tracking details, meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates
  • Relationship management, collaborating cross-functionally and effectively prioritizing projects in a dynamic environment
  • Building strong, collaborative relationships with team members and fostering a productive teamwork environment
  • Communicating effectively in written and oral formats to various situations and audiences
  • Partnering across functional teams to coordinate employee transfer processes, global mobility and compliance according to local legal requirements
  • Supporting broader M&A efforts
  • Providing project coordination of PX functional workstreams and serve as the primary team interface managing dependencies
  • Driving project scope, budgets, staffing resources, information and data requests
