What you will do

Lets do this. Lets change the world. In this vital role you will work closely with the Content Development Manager to support all aspects of the training solution development process. This includes documenting the processes and managing the tools for functional governance; maintaining the portfolio capabilities and functionalities and collaborating with the ID Leads and GP Strategies team on special projects.

  • Partners with the Content Development Manager to support the infrastructure required by GLSGLS portal and communication, assessment software, development tools, and maintenance of GLS metrics.
  • Assists Senior Manager of Instructional Design in development and implementation of GL&P onboarding program.
  • Supports smooth operation of GLS from instructional design, technical development, and implementation (e.g. launching in the LMS)
  • Assists in the facilitation and remediation of content development portfolio issues among Learning Professionals, GLS, and GP Strategies
  • Supports and maintains Tableau analytical solutions
  • Maintains, develops, and supports the enhancements of the GL&P Project Portfolio site using Amgen standard methodologies
  • Maintains required tools, subscriptions, software, and technology for GLS content development
  • Mitigates software and technology issues for GLS IDs and GP Strategies Team
  • Secondary gatekeeper of all GLS webservers, file shares, document libraries, SharePoint sites, and Help Desk Resolver groups
  • Responsible for content source files and retrieval requests
  • Sees opportunities for process automation and refinement
  • Supports internal communications and documentation of process updates
  • Ensures data quality of content development records
  • Coordinates special projects as needed

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors degree

Or

Associates degree and 4 years of project experience

Or

High school diploma / GED and 6 years of project experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in Learning & Development
  • Comprehensive knowledge of learning technology software and solutions
  • Proficient time and project management skills
  • Affective at troubleshooting technical issue and understanding of partner concern processes
  • Collaborative work style with ability to solicit input and support decision making.
  • Works effectively in a team-based organization, collaborates cross functionally
  • Excellent listener; seeks broad input and feedback; employs frequent and effective follow-up
  • Comprehensive knowledge of SharePoint, website development, workflows, and Tableau
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft office 365 Tools
  • Experience with data analysis
  • Strong service orientation
  • Excellent written, oral and presentation skills
