We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Research Specialist to join the Immuno-Oncology team. Despite decades of progress, cancer remains one of the world's most serious health problems. We believe we can help cancer patients most in need of therapy with the benefits of immunotherapy. In this role you will be responsible for validating novel therapeutic antibodies by working within the Immuno-Oncology team and as well as collaborating with departments across the company.

In this role a typical day may include:

-  Organize the study, implant tumors, and dose the animals

-  Measure tumor growth, and use a variety of assays to understand the mechanisms of action including flow cytometry, cytokine ELISAs/MSD

-  Troubleshoot and adapt the experimental design based on emerging data

This role may be for you if you:
-  Have excellent oral and written communication

-  Are a strong team player with a demonstrated ability to work independently to design experiments, interpret data, troubleshoot, and suggest next steps

To be considered for this position, you must have a BS +5 years of experience in the area of Oncology, Immunology or Immuno-oncology. We need someone who is experienced with tumor models including mouse handling, tumor cell implantation and tissue dissection. You should also have experience with the growth and maintenance of human tumor cell lines. Experience in immunoassay techniques (e.g., ELISAs and Mesoscale as well as cell purification) is preferred. It is also helpful to have experience with multi-parameter FACs and analysis. Candidate should be competent in standard scientific software used for data analysis (e.g., Microsoft Excel and Prism) as well as Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
