This is a Contract position, and plays an integral part of our University Relations Team. The Associate University Relations (UR) Specialist is responsible for partnering with UR Leadership to establish relationships and assist with the development of university relations strategies at core schools, including attending campus events and recruiting candidates for internships and full-time opportunities. As a contract Associate University Relations (UR) Specialist, a typical day might include the following:

  • In collaboration with UR Team; partnering with employees to plan and attend campus recruiting events

  • Aiding in communication with Campus Ambassador Team during semester campus activities to assure representation at partner schools

  • Owning the scheduling of intern interviews during recruitment process

  • Participating in selection/identification process of collateral inventory for campus recruiting

  • Collaborating with the UR team to ensure all data entry and candidate communication is compliant and effective      

  • Providing assistance in tracking intern manager projects during fall semester submission timeline

  • Participating in planning and facilitation of summer calendar of events for interns and ensures events are effectively communicated to interns and other areas of business

  • Partnering with the UR and Talent Acquisition (TA) Team to convert interns to Full-Time Employees; continues to make recommendations for efficiencies and improvements to this process

  • Assisting with managing of TLC process for interns and conversions prior to their scheduled start dates

To be considered for the Associate UR Specialist opportunity, you must have a Bachelor's degree and 0-2 years of experience in a post-academic setting required; University Relations experience preferred. To be considered as a UR Specialist, you must have a Bachelor's degree and 2-5 years of experience in a post-academic setting required; University Relations experience preferred. A strong process orientation with the goal of implementing or recommending best practices into the UR function is mandatory.  Experience with diversity and inclusion programs is preferred. Ability to meet goals and objectives in a dynamic environment. Strong ability to establish and maintain effective relationships throughout the organization as well as with external customers are a must.
