Director, Margin Accounting

The Director of Accounting Integration is responsible for leading the various workstreams to ensure the success of OMI efforts related to the Accounting COE, including the interim period leading up to the final migration to AbbVie’s instance of SAP. Workstreams include Deferred Margin, Transfer Pricing, Product Financial Flows, Consolidations, and Alliance Accounting.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall interim and Go-Live processes for key areas within the Accounting COE based on OMI timeline (support teams on Go-Live readiness and Post Go-Live activities for each wave)
• Provide overall project and status updates to the VP Financial Reporting and Accounting and others, as necessary
• Coordinate with BTS, RTR, FSS and Operations on overlapping / interdependent processes
• Represent the Accounting COE in various OMI meetings
• Support the testing and documentation of new SAP functionality for impact on Intercompany Margin, Reporting and Consolidation activities

• BS or BA in Finance / Accounting, CPA preferred
• 15+ years of financial and/or operational experience, with 10+ years at a managerial level
• Demonstrated success in leading teams
• Ability to lead various project workstreams with agility to deal with tight deadlines and to assess and resolve issues and challenges
